Jeep Compass Sport Automatic launched at Rs 21.99 lakh - Details

Jeep Compass Sport diesel-automatic variant has been launched in India at Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This brings the 9-speed automatic gearbox to the entry-level Sport trim for the first time. That makes it the most affordable automatic Compass in India. Deliveries start in the second week of November 2026.

Accessory pack
Jeep offers an optional accessory pack for Rs 29,900. It adds a Swoosh decal on the rear pillars and along the shoulder line. You also get mud flaps outside and all-weather floor mats inside. The pack adds ambient lighting and a dashcam too.

Exterior
The Sport AT is based on the entry-level trim. It still gets LED headlamps with DRLs and chrome window surrounds. The 17-inch alloy wheels have a silver finish. The ORVM housings are black and have integrated turn indicators. You also get a rear spoiler and a shark-fin antenna.

Interior and features
The cabin has a dark theme. The dashboard and door pads have grey fabric inserts. The fabric seats come with blue stitching. The 8.4-inch touchscreen supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A four-speaker sound system comes with it. The instrument cluster is a 3.5-inch digital unit.

Safety
The new Sport AT variant adds 6 airbags, auto hold and cruise control over the manual Sport. The safety kit also includes electronic stability control, traction control and hill-start assist. You also get ISOFIX child seat anchors, tyre-pressure monitoring and an electronic parking brake. A reversing camera with rear parking sensors completes the list.

Engine and gearbox
The Sport AT uses the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel as the rest of the range. It makes 170hp and 350Nm. The 9-speed automatic sends power to the front wheels. Jeep has kept the Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) suspension on this variant. The rest of the Compass line-up still comes with manual and automatic gearboxes.
