The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the Group-II notification for 686 vacancies. As per the official notification, APPSC online applications will start from November 10, while the last date to apply is November 30 at 11:59 pm.
APPSC issued a brief notification (No. 37/2026) on October 13. However, a detailed notification, with the age limit, application fee and category-wise vacancies, is due on or before November 10. Candidates should wait for that document before applying.
The vacancies are spread across 12 categories in several departments, including revenue, municipal administration, registration, cooperatives, excise, the Secretariat and accounts.
Between them, Deputy Tahsildar and Deputy MPDO account for 376 of the 686 posts, more than half the total.
Most of the posts accept a bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised university. A few need a specific qualification.
The Assistant Section Officer (Law) post requires a law degree, and accounts posts ask for a prescribed computer course or a relevant computer degree. Candidates must hold the required qualification on the date of the detailed notification.
