ICAI held the exam on September 2, 5, 7 and 9. The institute's passing criteria are the same as before. Candidates must score at least 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate to clear.
Those candidates who have qualified can move on to registration for the CA Intermediate course, subject to ICAI's rules. Those who fell short have another chance soon.
The next Foundation exam is due in January 2027, and registration on the SSP portal has already started. Candidates planning a retake should check the last date and the exam dates on ICAI's website, and read the paper-wise marks to find where they lost ground.
