New Delhi: Basking in the glory of Ramayana's success and initial positive word-of-mouth reviews, actor Kunal Kapoor took to his social media and shared behind-the-scenes (BTS) moments of him portraying the Lord Indra in Nitesh Tiwari’s grand cinematic epic. He also penned a warm note to thank the filmmakers for letting him be a part of the spectacle.

Kunal Kapoor thanked Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari for trusting him with the heavyweight character, Lord Indra, and letting him be a part of the world of Ramayana with an expansive vision. He also thanked casting director Mukesh Chhabra for seeing Lord Indra in him and bringing him on board the film.

He wrote: Thank you, @iamnamitmalhotra @niteshtiwari22 for trusting me with Lord Indra and letting me be a small part of a vision this big.

And thank you @mukeshchhabracc for thinking of me and bringing me on board for this very special part.

Watching this film come together taught me what happens when people refuse to dream small, and then have the conviction to actually build that dream, brick by brick, frame by frame, with an extraordinary amount of love, passion and belief.

A huge thank you to the entire cast and crew, all the technicians, makeup artists, costume designers and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this world come alive. So much goes into creating something of this scale. Every little detail matters, and you can feel the love and dedication that has gone into it.

Ramayana is now in theatres. Go watch it on the biggest screen you can find! @worldoframayana
