Railway station master recruitment 2026 for 1,265 posts, Last date November 25

Indian Railways has opened applications for 1,265 Station Master posts across the country. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Mumbai, has the largest share at 177 vacancies.

As per the latest notification, applications opened on October 27, while the station master vacancy 2026 last date is November 25, 2026.

According to the notice, the Railway Board has decided that Station Master recruitment will now be notified separately from 2026 onwards. Until now, these posts were advertised along with other posts through the common graduate-level notification issued by the Railway Recruitment Boards.

Railway Station Master Vacancy 2026: Steps to apply

In order to fill the application form, candidates need to click on the official website and follow the steps given below:

1. Visit the official website of the RRB region you want to apply under.
2. Click the link for the Station Master recruitment (Centralised Employment Notice) application.
3. Then, register with your name, mobile number and email ID. Note down the registration number and password you receive.
4. Now, log in and fill in your personal, educational and other required details.
5. Choose your RRB region and upload the required documents, such as a recent photograph and signature, in the prescribed format.
6. Pay the application fee online, if applicable.
7. Check all the details carefully, submit the form, and download and save a printout for future reference.
