Several clips from the episode circulated online, evoking mixed reactions from the netizens.

One of the moments that drew particular attention was Vijay’s revelation that Rashmika had to propose to him nearly 100 times before he agreed to marry her. Reacting to this, many social media users labelled Vijay “red flag.”

Before Vijay, Rashmika took to Instagram to respond to the ongoing controversy.

“My lil’ 2 cents on this whole issue concerning me and Vijju. I generally don’t address these things because everyone has a right to their opinions. Sometimes, I even enjoy reading them and gaining a different perspective. But the current frenzy over our interview feels less like people having opinions and more like an angry mob looking for someone to vent at. Somewhere along the way, the whole point got lost. Maybe it didn’t fit your lens. Maybe some of you simply don’t want to see it. I’m writing this because I want to protect the people who believe in love, and I hope everyone gets to find their own version of it,” she posted.

“We’ve been bombarded with opinions, comments and unsolicited advice on all our profiles, mine and yours, unnecessarily. The conviction with which people came at us genuinely shook me a little. I was like, WHAT THE FK IS GOING ON? So I took a step back, thought about it, and here’s my lil’ take on my own life. First, it was never about the number of times or an entire year. That’s where some of you got stuck. Yes, that conversation happened. But neither of us was looking for a grand proposal. The conversation was about him wanting both of us to take the time and space to understand each other, to be sure that despite all the highs and lows, the joys and stresses of life, this was what we wanted and the right time for it. And we did. We chose each other. It’s okay that I knew exactly what I wanted. And it was equally okay that he wanted time to think all the practical things of life through and be sure. That didn’t change our love in any way. I am all heart and he is the thinker- and we need that in each other’s lives. For us, marriage was never about a proposal, getting down on one knee or putting a ring on a finger. That’s the decorative part. For us, it was about building a life and a future together. And I think we did that beautifully so far,” she added.

Rashmika also questioned how being obsessed with someone you love could ever be a bad thing, proudly admitting that she’s obsessed with Vijay.

“Find someone you would go to any lengths for, someone who would do the same for you. And yes, I am OBSESSED with my man. When did that become a bad thing? If I’m not IN LOVE with the man I’m marrying, then why in the world would I marry him? He’s going to be my companion for life. My friend through the ordinary days and the extraordinary ones. The father of my children. The man I grow old with. Find a man who loves you so beautifully that even after you’re married, you’d still want to tell him, ‘Let’s get married.’ I would do it a thousand times- 100 is nothing. It’s really that simple,” she wrote.Rashmika urged everyone to refrain from speaking ill of her or her family, making it clear that she wouldn’t tolerate any disrespect towards them.
“Bitch about me all you want. I can take it. But talking about my family without knowing them? That’s not feminism. That’s bullying dressed up as feminism. Feminism was never about putting someone else down or establishing superiority, whether you’re a man or a woman. It was always about having the freedom to choose your own life and taking charge of it. I took charge of mine,” she expressed.

In her note, Rashmika also opened up about how Vijay has always been by her side through thick and thin.“Right now, I am the happiest I have ever been. And I hope you can see that in my face, in the joy I’ve felt since getting married, in my performances, in my films, and simply in the way I live my life.I am happy. I am content. I am blessed. And the fact that some people would rather believe random narratives, misleading edits and absolute lies created on the internet that believe what I say about my own life is honestly a little creepy. When I snap a bone, you aren’t there. He is. When my stomach hurts every month, you aren’t there. He is. When I need to go to the hospital, you aren’t there. He is. When I wake up in the middle of the night with anxiety, you aren’t there. He is. And when I break down, I don’t have your shoulder to cry on. I have his. So please, don’t worry about me or him. I genuinely wish and pray that you find someone you love who loves you just as deeply. And if that isn’t what you want for yourself, that’s completely fine too. Live the life that makes you happy,” she said.

<g stroke="none" stroke-width="1" fill="none" fill-rule="evenodd"><g transform="translate(-511.000000, -20.000000)" fill="#000000"><g></g></g></g>

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by Rashmika Mandanna (@rashmika_mandanna)

Rashmika concluded her note with a shout out to her fans who have always loved her and supported her.“And it rewarded me with immense love ….And to some of my Kannadiga friends… Ahhh, how lovely it is to know that I’m still so deeply etched in your hearts even after 10 years. A marriage status can never change the love and respect I have for you both. “I'm always here.”

His response came after Mahhi was seen getting emotional on the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 20’ while speaking about her journey as a single mother, her decision not to accept alimony and her determination to secure her daughter's future independently.

In one of the previous episodes of ‘Bigg Boss 20’, Mahhi spoke about her experience of raising Tara and explained why she chose not to take financial support from Jay in the form of alimony or maintenance.

“I am a single mother.
New Delhi: In the Tower, friendships come with fine print, power comes with a price, and one decision can leave the entire game in a spin! As the race for control intensifies, Niharika Tiwari finds herself with a choice that could change both the Penthouse prize pot and the Basement’s fate. Pawan Singh offers her two options: send both Rishabh and Jaswant Bopanna to the Basement and double the Penthouse prize pot, or send just one of them downstairs and leave the money unchanged.

Takhta Palat in sight

As the Ultimate Ruler, Niharika chooses the bigger gamble, doubling the prize pot and sending both men downstairs. Her reasoning is simple: her friends are no longer in the Basement. While she asks Rishabh and Jaswant to understand her plan, the decision raises a question of its own: is this a strategic masterstroke or a ruthless ruler move? With Takhta Palat looming, Niharika may have secured a bigger prize pot, but will her gamble pay off when the tables turn?

The decision soon becomes the talk of the Tower, with Karan Patel, Shehzad Poonawalla and Niharika speculating about the trouble Rishabh and Jaswant could face in the Basement. But while some are busy predicting the duo’s fate, Swara Bhasker’s decision to speak to them adds another layer to the brewing tensions. Her conversation is enough to irritate Karan and Shehzad, turning an otherwise ordinary interaction into yet another point of contention. In this Tower, even a conversation can become a controversy!

As Rishabh and Jaswant settle into their new reality downstairs, Pawan, too, makes his way to the Basement, where the conversations take a more candid turn. He opens up about once feeling underconfident and nervous about performing alongside actresses, before explaining why he prefers to keep his interactions with women limited.

When asked about it, he has a perfectly timed explanation: “Jaha mein kuch bola, woh controversy ka roop pakad leta hai”. But even as Pawan brings his trademark candour to the room, old disagreements refuse to stay buried. Sonam confronts Priyanka Chahar Choudhary over what she sees as a failure to stand by her own words, going so far as to call her a liar. Their icy exchange brings trust and loyalty back into question, with the Workers gathering to discuss Priyanka and her equations. Amid the accusations and shifting loyalties, the housemates also come together for a final dose of masti, laughter and dancing to give Pawan a warm farewell as his time in the Tower draws to a close.

With emotions running high and the prize pots hanging in the balance, the Tower’s biggest headline is waiting to be printed, and this time, the Workers have a shot at writing it themselves! The Penthouse holds ₹15 lakh, while the Basement has ₹7.3 lakh, making the upcoming Printing Press Challenge a crucial opportunity for the Workers to pull off the season’s first Takhta Palat and end the Rulers’ four-week reign.

The task requires the Workers to print pamphlets featuring tags for the Rulers, match each pamphlet to the correct colour and deliver it to the designated boxes outside the Rulers’ house. With two Workers operating the printing station, spinning a wheel to reveal photographs, cutting them out, stamping them with adjectives and passing the pamphlets to the delivery team where precision and speed will be key. The Rulers, however, choose the hardest level, leaving the Workers with just one hour to print and deliver 50 pamphlets. If they succeed, the Workers will walk away with ₹12 lakh; if they fail, ₹8 lakh will be added to the Rulers’ prize pot. The challenge is set, but the battle for power begins even before the first pamphlet is printed.

Karan takes charge as supervisor, while Priyanka joins the Workers’ side. Before the task can get underway, Karan spots a potential loophole and raises the possibility of disqualification. Swara suggests consulting the Workers first, but what could have been a discussion quickly turns into a clash, with Karan and Shehzad questioning whose side she is really playing for. Swara refuses to be pushed around, and the disagreement escalates into a shouting match. Meanwhile, Niharika urges the Workers to read the rules closely, pointing out a loophole on the Rulers’ side, a move that brings her into a face-off with Shehzad, whom she tells not to interfere. With tempers flaring, accusations flying and the rules themselves becoming part of the battle, the Printing Press is already making headlines. Will the Workers turn their pamphlets into a ticket to Takhta Palat, or will the Rulers hold their ground and keep the Penthouse firmly in their grip?

Produced by Banijay Asia, Rise and Fall Season 2 is hosted by Virender Sehwag and streams free, exclusively on Prime Video, with fresh episodes every day at 12 noon.

The show is available through MX Player by Prime Video on the MX Player Android app, as well as across mobile devices, Connected TVs, the Amazon shopping app, Prime Video and Fire TV.

Meanwhile, Captain Aasif Khan exercised his special power to nominate Mahhi Vij directly.

Aman Gandhi Calls Out Nakul Dhull

The episode opened with late-night conversations following Weekend Ka Vaar, as Nakul Dhull, ScoutOP and Aman Gandhi got into a discussion that took an uncomfortable turn. One of Nakul’s jokes offended Aman, prompting him to bring Arishfa Khan and Uditi Singh into the conversation. ScoutOP objected to the girls getting involved, saying, “Yeh ladkon ki baat hai, ladke hi karenge. Aap ladkiyan involved nahi thi, toh abhi aapko ismein nahi jodna hai.”

Uditi countered ScoutOP’s argument, pointing out that he could not dictate who could or could not be part of the conversation simply because he considered it a discussion among boys. Aman then explained that Nakul’s comment had made him feel unsafe and uncomfortable, adding that if a similar incident involved a girl, the housemates would naturally empathise with her. He argued that men’s discomfort should be taken just as seriously. The housemates eventually advised Nakul to avoid making such jokes with Aman, respecting the fact that he was not comfortable with them.

Arishfa Khan and Kanika Mann Clash Over Ghee

The morning began with another disagreement, this time over the use of ghee in the house. Arishfa questioned Kanika’s use of extra ghee, calling it unfair to the other housemates. On Nakul’s suggestion, Arishfa decided to take the ghee container and keep it with herself, leaving the other contestants troubled.

The decision soon led to another confrontation, with Kanika and Mahhi accusing Nakul of provoking Arishfa and putting the idea in her head. Nakul stood his ground, making it clear that he would continue to do what he felt was right. What began as a disagreement over ration soon turned into a larger clash over fairness and influence within the house.

Mahhi Vij and Amrapali Dubey Have a Candid Conversation About Relationships

In a more personal moment, Mahhi asked Amrapali Dubey why she did not have a boyfriend, saying now she’d get one because she’s lost weight, “Abhi toh tu patli bhi ho gayi hai.” Amrapali responded that even when she was heavier, many men were interested in her, but she had chosen not to make anyone her boyfriend.

Mahhi then asked whether Amrapali liked anyone from the Bhojpuri film industry. Amrapali explained that most of the actors were married and that she did not share a particularly close equation with Pawan Singh, who is unmarried. Mahhi also asked her about Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua. Amrapali pointed out that he was married and had children, explaining that he and his wife had an arranged marriage before he rose to fame. The conversation offered a glimpse into Amrapali’s personal choices and her take on relationships.

Mahhi Vij’s Request for Extra Chicken Sparks Another Disagreement

Food-related tensions continued when Mahhi asked for an extra piece of chicken. Captain Aasif Khan, who was distributing the food, divided it equally and gave Mahhi a piece along with some curry from the extra bowl. However, Mahhi later expressed displeasure over how the situation was handled, criticising Aasif for his “chindiigiri” and remarking that food-related matters should be handled more considerately. Kanika and Qazi Touqeer stepped in to console her as the disagreement unfolded.

‘BB Gazab Beizzati Zone’ Sets the Stage for Nominations

The episode ended with the announcement of a new nomination task, titled ‘BB Gazab Beizzati Zone’, as the housemates prepared to face the consequences of their equations and disagreements. Captain Aasif Khan was given the special power to nominate one contestant directly and chose Mahhi Vij.
The task also introduced a key twist: multiple housemates could nominate the same contestant, with no limit on the number of nominations one person could receive. With Aasif’s decision already putting Mahhi in the danger zone, the nominations set the stage for further clashes and revealed the shifting equations within the house.

Tune in to Bigg Boss 20, every day at 9 PM on JioHotstar and at 10:30 PM on Colors TV.

Mumbai: Television superstar Divyanka Tripathi opened up about the challenges of returning to work with the couple reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga, after welcoming twin baby boys with husband Vivek Dahiya.

She emphasised that there is no such thing as an effortless ‘bounce back’ after childbirth. In an exclusive conversation, the actress spoke about balancing her professional commitments with motherhood, admitting that leaving her babies even for two to four minutes has become difficult as they begin to grow and explore their surroundings.

Divyanka, who has resumed work while navigating the demands of caring for her newborns, spoke about how caring for her twins is becoming a different experience as they grow.

While the babies currently spend time sleeping and feeding, she knows that the next stage of their development will bring new challenges.

“Handling babies is actually easier at this stage because they sleep and feed. But I know the crawling stage will come. They have already started pushing themselves around slowly. For me, it is also difficult to leave them alone even for two to four minutes. So, I have to take them along to the set. It is not easy. None of it is easy,” Divyanka shared.

She also said people have expressed surprise at how quickly she has returned to work.

“I have always said this in the past, women don’t simply ‘bounce back’. There is nothing like that. Look, you can work in front of the camera, and we are doing our jobs, but there are difficulties. There are aches in the body, there is a fog in the brain, and yet we know that we have to keep working. We may not have had to return to work so soon, but here we are, doing it,” she said.

She further emphasised that women should not be compared with one another when it comes to returning to work after motherhood. Pointing out that every individual's circumstances are different, she encouraged women to trust their own journeys instead of feeling pressured by someone else's experience.

“I am saying this so that nobody compares one woman with another and says, ‘Oh, Divyanka has done it.’ No, it is difficult for everyone. Everyone returns to work at their own pace. So, just go at your own pace, and I am following mine too,” she said.

Divyanka also acknowledged the support system that has helped her navigate this phase. She credited her family and husband Vivek for standing by her and giving her the confidence to manage both motherhood and work.

“I am showing a lot of strength, but a lot of that strength comes from Vivek. He stands by me. My family tells me, ‘You will manage it. It will happen. Don’t keep thinking about whether you should wait; you will never get started if you keep waiting.’ I also feel that working is good for our mental health. Being with you is good for my mental health,” she added.

For the uninitiated, Divyanka and Vivek welcomed their twin baby boys on May 26, 2026, sharing the happy news with fans through a joint social media announcement. The couple announced the arrival of their sons nearly 10 years after tying the knot on July 8, 2016.

Lekin hum jaanna chahenge ki aapki mata ji kaisi thi? Kya woh strict thi ya disciplinarian thi ya kaise thi wo (We have heard a lot about your father from you. But we would like to know what your mother was like. Was she strict, a disciplinarian, or what was she like)?”.

Responding to the same, Big B shared how his mother maintained order in the household while giving her children traditional, maternal guidance.

He said, “Dekhiye, har maa jo hoti hai woh thodi bahut usmein discipline, ek jaagrit rehti hai bacchon ke prati... 'Yeh karo, aisa mat karo, yeh theek karo, woh theek karo’. Toh jitni maayein karti hain utna unki ore se hota tha (Look, every mother is, to some extent, disciplined and attentive towards her children. Do this, don’t do that, do this properly, do that properly;, She did as much as mothers generally do)”.

He further mentioned, “Gandagi unko pasand nahi thi. Kahin bhi kuch gandagi ho jaaye, 'Yeh kapda tumne aise kyun fenka hai? Yahan par tum matti mein khel ke aaye ho, ghar ke andar ghus aaye ho’. Toh woh saaf karne ke liye bolti thi (She did not like mess. If there was any mess anywhere, she would say, ‘Why have you thrown this cloth like this? You have been playing in the dirt and have come straight into the house.’ She would ask us to clean it up)”.

He further reflected on his mother's background from a Sikh family and her bold decision to marry his father, celebrated poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, “Lekin wo ek Sikh parivaar se thi... Babuji Allahabad ke, aur unka inter-caste marriage hua tha. Woh bahut hi rochak kahaani hai, kabhi unki aatmakatha padhiyega toh aapko milega. Ek din ke andar maa ji ne apna sab kuch chhod diya, aur tay kiya ki Babuji ke saath woh byah karenge (But she belonged to a Sikh family, while my father was from Allahabad, and theirs was an inter-caste marriage. It is a very interesting story; you should read his autobiography sometime, and you will find it there. Within a single day, my mother left everything behind and decided that she would marry my father)”.

‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ Amitabh Bachchan Birthday Week Special is set to air on Friday on Sony Entertainment Television
