Rise and Fall Season 2: Shehzad Poonawalla becomes first finalist!

New Delhi: With the grand finale drawing closer, the game on Rise and Fall Season 2 has entered its most crucial phase! As the contestants navigate shifting equations and changing power dynamics, the Tower is gearing up for another major shake-up. Shehzad Poonawalla has become the first contestant to secure a place in the finale of 'Rise and Fall' Season 2.

As the Ticket to Finale challenge reaches its decisive stage, both pairs Karan Patel & Jashwanth Bopanna and Shehzad Poonawalla & Rishabh Jaiswal must put their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test as they race to repair the circuit board.

Karan and Jashwanth complete the challenge in 35 minutes and 38 seconds, while Shehzad and Rishabh emerge victorious with an impressive timing of 23 minutes and 46 seconds. With this win, Shehzad becomes the first finalist of Rise and Fall Season 2, and in another significant milestone, reclaims the Ultimate Ruler title. Having held the position earlier in the season, he became the first contestant to be crowned Ultimate Ruler twice and will retain the title until the season concludes.

The celebrations soon give way to another crucial round of decisions as the Rulers are summoned to the Red Room once again.

In a twist, the Workers can see the Rulers, but the Rulers remain unaware of what is unfolding around them. With the Fall Ka Farmaan back, Shehzad is entrusted with the power to decide the fate of the Rulers, with not one but two Rulers set to lose their place in the Penthouse.

The process unfolded in three stages, beginning with Shehzad getting the power to save one Ruler from the impending fall. In a surprising move, he chooses Gautam Gulati over Swara Bhasker and Karan Patel, explaining that he had made a mistake earlier by saving Irina Rudakova and allowing Gautam to be sent to the Basement. This time, he is determined not to repeat it!

With Gautam saved, the next decision rests with him as he is asked to rank the remaining Rulers based on the strength of their opinions and decisions in the game. Gautam places Swara at the top, acknowledging her strong decision-making, followed by Karan Patel.

Sonam Malik takes the third position, while Manish Kashyap lands at the bottom, with Gautam questioning his strength in the game. The final call, however, rests with Shehzad, who must choose two Rulers from the bottom or top of the ranking to face the Fall Ka Farmaaan. In a decisive move, he sends Manish and Sonam to the Basement, bringing their time in the Penthouse to an end!

But the decisions leave behind more than just a change in the power equation. Before heading downstairs, Manish is questioned by Shehzad about his past support for Gautam during his difficult time in the Basement, sparking a conversation around old loyalties and who truly stood by whom. Gautam clarifies that his decision was made in the interest of the Penthouse.

With the grand finale now in sight, the Tower is far from settling down. As loyalties come under question and old rivalries resurface, the latest decisions are bound to leave their mark on the game.
