These performances earned him six Actor Awards, a Golden Globe Award and four Primetime Emmy Awards.</p><p>Born at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Hollywood, Los Angeles, his mother, Marjorie 'Marty' Speer, worked as a nurse at East Hollywood's Kaiser Hospital. His father, Stephen Wyle, was an electrical engineer and entrepreneur.</p><p>Wyle was educated at Gardner Street Elementary School in Hollywood and Oakwood School in North Hollywood.
