Check Aadhaar e-KYC status and cylinder prices
From November 1, LPG consumers may need to check their Aadhaar e-KYC status and cylinder prices before booking a refill. Consumers using Indane, Bharatgas and HP Gas should make sure their Aadhaar e-KYC is complete to book a refill. The verification requirement came into effect on October 1, 2026. Those who have already completed the verification do not need to do it again.
What will happen if required verification is incomplete?
Consumers who have not completed Aadhaar e-KYC may face difficulties booking subsidised LPG refills. Subsidised refill booking may be halted until verification is completed. Consumers eligible for subsidies should complete their e-KYC to avoid problems with refill bookings.
What if consumers choose not to authenticate?
Consumers choosing not to authenticate can formally register the preference through their respective OMC channels. They will subsequently only be permitted to purchase 5 kg or 10 kg cylinders at standard market rates.
Verify rates before booking refills
LPG cylinder prices can differ from one city to another. Consumers should check the latest prices in their city before booking a refill in November to know how much they will have to pay.
How to complete Aadhaar e-KYC for LPG?

After logging in, they should select the Aadhaar e-KYC option and follow the instructions for face authentication.
Alternatively, verification can be finalised through local distributors or during the delivery of the physical cylinder.

In Delhi, a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder cost Rs 2,810 in October. Domestic LPG prices have remained unchanged since June 7, 2026. The November 1 pricing for these cylinders will depend entirely on the upcoming OMC announcement.
