Bhumi Pednekar offers prayers at Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar visited the world-famous Mahakaleshwar Temple on Monday evening to offer prayers to Lord Mahakal. Arriving at the holy shrine around 5:00 PM, the actress meditated in the quiet solitude of the Nandi Hall before performing darshan and offering prayers from the temple's main entrance for the prosperity of the nation.

Seeking divine blessings for upcoming projects

According to reports, Bhumi’s visit to the revered Jyotirlinga shrine was also to pray for the success of her upcoming big-budget feature films, The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Adhoore Hum Adhoore Tum. This is not the first time the actress has visited the shrine; she has previously offered prayers at Baba Mahakal’s court ahead of key professional milestones.

Following her prayer session, Bhumi shared her spiritual experience with the media, expressing deep devotion and peace.

"Whenever I come to Mahakal Temple, I feel my soul is satisfied. Coming here brings immense peace to my mind. My only wish is that Baba Mahakal continues to call me to his court again and again," she said.

Bhumi’s spiritual trip to Ujjain comes closely on the heels of her vibrant appearance at actor Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap’s star-studded Diwali bash in Mumbai. Bhumi was seen letting her hair down and dancing alongside host Tahira Kashyap in a festive video clip shared on social media.

The grand celebration at Ayushmann’s residence brought together a host of prominent Bollywood figures, including Karan Johar, Sara Ali Khan, Rajkummar Rao, Twinkle Khanna, Shilpa Shetty, Arjun Kapoor, and celebrity designer Manish Malhotra.

Reflecting on the memorable night, Tahira took to Instagram, writing: "Diwali celebrations for @ayushmannk and me have always been with our family and friends! Mumbai has become home, and so our friends are our extended family here! We slept at 5 am and danced till our feet hurt...the best feeling."
