Yo Yo Honey Singh's nephew Vidit Olak dies in fatal Jalandhar road accident

In a tragic early-morning road accident in Punjab's Jalandhar, two young men lost their lives after their car rammed into a stationary Municipal Corporation tractor-trolley on a flyover near the Police Lines area.

One of the deceased has been identified as Vidit Olak, nephew of popular singer-rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and son of Dinesh Olak, owner of the prominent Punjabi music company Speed Records. The second victim was identified as Aarav Talwar, son of the owner of the well-known sweet shop chain Pappy Sweets.

Fatal Collision Near Police Lines

The incident occurred during the early hours of Sunday as the victims were returning home after attending a friend's birthday party. According to Baradari police station, as reported by India Today, SHO Sahil Chaudhary, the police control room received information about the crash at approximately 3:00 AM.

At the time of the collision, Municipal Corporation sanitation workers were engaged in cleaning operations along the flyover and had parked the tractor-trolley on the roadside to collect garbage. The Volkswagen car, carrying Vidit and Aarav, was travelling from BMC Chowk towards BSF Chowk when it crashed into the stationary vehicle.

Police Action And Family Decision

Police officials revealed that a total of five individuals were initially travelling in the Volkswagen car earlier that night. However, three of the occupants had already been dropped off at their respective homes prior to the accident.

Upon receiving the alert, police teams rushed to the spot and took custody of the bodies. Following the tragedy, the bereaved families declined to pursue further legal action in the matter. Completing the necessary formalities, the authorities subsequently handed over the bodies to the respective families.

Following the news of the devastating loss, Yo Yo Honey Singh expressed his grief by sharing an Instagram Story honoring his nephew.
