Akshay Kumar wraps up UK schedule for 'Samuk', gear up for final Mumbai leg

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all set to feature in 'Samuk' which is bankrolled by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The sci-fi survival thriller is directed by Kanishk Varma. The team has officially wrapped up an extensive shooting schedule in the UK, completing nearly 80 percent of the film, and is now heading home to Mumbai for its final 20-day leg.

Directed by Kanishk Varma and produced under Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Sunshine Pictures, Samuk has been in development for over two years. Mounted on a massive scale, the film promises an edge-of-your-seat blend of science fiction, action, and survival elements designed strictly for the big screen. Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Akshay Kumar have joined hands for a project after 13 long years.

The film also features a versatile ensemble cast including Rukmini Maitra, Vineet Kumar Singh, Rajat Kapoor, Swanand Kirkire, Banita Sandhu, and Sushant Singh. While plot and character details are currently under wraps, the unique mix of performers adds another layer of intrigue to this sci-fi thriller.
