Known for her performance in movies including Raksha Bandhan, and The Diplomat, Bollywood actress Sadia Khateeb told Zee News Digital about her festive style for Diwali this year, her dream director to work with and whether she is a party type on festivals.
Q. Diwali is all about dressing up! What is your go-to style statement for this festive season?
A. For me, I look forward to Diwali festivities because the entire vibe around this festival is something that I absolutely love, especially the part of getting dressed up and meeting your friends and family. My go-to style statement has usually been what I like, fashion or something like very traditional, but this time especially I am focusing on getting outfits that are comfortable to wear during the day and the night so that I can work and dance a lot in them. That's why I just want to wear something which looks traditionally beautiful but also is comfortable enough for me to move around very easily.
Q. If you could wish for one dream director or co-star to work with as a Diwali gift to yourself, who would it be?
A. Um, one wish, one dream director or co-actor for me to work with right now is, which all-time is actually Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir, for sure. And there are so many, but to name just one is Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir and Imtiaz Ali. An actor would be, I would really have to work with Ranbir and Ranveer and Shah Rukh, and the list goes on.
Q. Are you a party person on festivals or a stay-at-home kind?
I'm a total party person during festivals. I love, love, going out. I love meeting people. I, but yeah, to a level that it exhausts me, then after a point I'm stay at home. So I am someone who is really definitely looking forward to this festival season, and I wish everyone happiest Diwali.
