Stunt director Geeta Tandon recently took to social media to express her frustration over an unpleasant experience on a shoot set, alleging that she and her son were made to wait for nearly nine hours on the sets of the reality show India Ke Top 1%.

Allegations of inordinate delays on set

Sharing her ordeal with followers, Tandon highlighted the unprofessional conduct and lack of basic courtesy displayed by the production team. According to the stunt director, despite arriving on time, both she and her son faced an excruciating nine-hour wait before any progress was made, raising concerns regarding working conditions and time management on television sets.

Following stunt director Geeta Tandon’s public post detailing her nine-hour wait on the set of India Ke Top 1%, show host Anil Kapoor and director-choreographer Farah Khan have extended formal apologies, expressing regret over the unfortunate experience.

Anil Kapoor promises dignity and respect

Responding directly to Geeta’s post in the comments section, host Anil Kapoor shared that he was genuinely saddened to hear about the ordeal faced by her and her son.

"As the host, I always wanted everyone who was part of the show to feel welcome and respected. You and your son came as our guests. I'm sorry that your experience left you’ll feeling otherwise. I've been in this industry long enough to know how much dignity and respect matter, and I would never want anyone to feel that they were treated with anything less. I take your feedback seriously and genuinely thank you for sharing it," Kapoor wrote.

    Farah Khan clarifies communication gap

Farah Khan also responded to the allegations, clarifying that she was completely unaware of Geeta's presence on set due to scheduling differences.

"Geetaji apologies.. i had no idea you were there as i was shooting for the 2nd episode in the evening.. otherwise would have made you sit in my van, as would Anil if he knew.. we have tremendous respect for you and your hard work..," Farah commented, highlighting the mutual respect the industry holds for the veteran stunt director.

India Ke Top 1% is a popular reality game show adapted from the internationally acclaimed format The 1% Club.
