Delhi company gifts iPhone 16 to employees for Diwali, video goes viral; Watch here

Sweets and gift boxes are the usual Diwali offering at Indian workplaces. One Delhi company decided to hand out iPhone 16s instead, and a video of the surprise is now doing the rounds online.

The company is reportedly based in Rohini. It put the clip on its official Instagram page. The 15-second video shows iPhones lined up on employees' desks, in front of their computer screens, each tied with a ribbon. The phones come in white, green, blue and black.

Staff members are seen reacting with delight as they find the gifts waiting at their workstations. A few can be seen smiling and showing their excitement.

The post carries the caption "No competition.. What did you get?"

The video drew plenty of attention, especially from people curious about the employer. Many praised the company for rewarding its staff so generously.

Others used the comments to talk about what they got at their own offices. Some asked, in jest, when the company would be hiring.

One user pointed out that male and female employees seemed to have received different gifts, and another said their workplace hadn't even given them a box of mithai.

A few viewers doubted that the clip was real and asked if it had been made with AI. The company replied that it was not AI-generated.

Videos of Diwali gifts from employers have become a regular feature on social media each festive season. While some firms stay with traditional sweets and hampers, others go for gadgets and other premium presents.

Such clips often set off wider conversations about office culture and how well employees feel appreciated. This iPhone surprise is the latest to join that list.
